The British Car Club of Delaware (BCCD) was established in 1994 as a non-profit organization based in Newark, DE. The BCCD is open to both owners and enthusiasts interested in the preservation of all the marques of British cars and motorbikes. Our members own Austin-Healeys, Triumphs, Jaguars and MGs as well as a multitude of other less commonly known English vehicles. Our members are mostly from the tri-state area of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and even a few from New Jersey. But you don't have to own a British vehicle to join and be involved. We meet monthly and many members just enjoy the club camaraderie, without the trials and tribulations of ownership There is a large core group who attend almost every meeting and event. Others can't make it to all the meetings, but enjoying supporting the club and getting the " British Diamond newsletter, viewing the activities on our website ; or getting information and corresponding through our email server. Our events calendar is full all year round with early spring to late fall drives that have included rallies, cruise nights, and covered bridge tours through the tri-state area. Members and cars can be found at many of the classic car shows throughout Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. We host an annual summer picnic and even a winter Christmas Pollyanna party. The club's major yearly events are the Annual Car Show in Lewes on the first Saturday in May and the Annual Car Show on the third Saturday of September in Delaware City. These events attract many British cars and motorbikes of all makes and draw participants from as far away as New York and Virginia.
